How can I book an apartment?

First, check the availability in our calendar and then contact us.

What are the general conditions?

How do I pay?

You can pay by bank transfer. We will send you bank details once you’ve made your reservation.

What time can I check in / out

Check in is from 14:00 on the day of arrival.
Check out is before 11:00 on the day of departure.
Please let us know if you would like to check in/out at different times.

How do I get the key to the apartment?

You will receive the key at the agreed address on the day of your arrival. We will agree on an arrival time, ensuring you can have instant access to your apartment.
We will also provide you with any applicable instructions and information in relation to the apartment and the surrounding area. We will give you a short tour of the neighbourhood if you are staying for a longer period of time, so you know exactly where all the shops, restaurants, cafes, bakeries and other businesses can be found.

Is a reservation request final?

No. A reservation request is non-binding and only becomes final after our confirmation and receipt of payment.

What is the minimum/maximum length of stay?

Our apartments are available for a stay of at least 3 nights. Longer stays can be arranged upon request.

How much is the tourist tax and am I obliged to pay it?

The tourist tax for 2026 is €6,20 per person per night.
Tourist tax is subject to change and can be adjusted on a yearly basis by the municipality of The Hague.

People younger than 13 are exempt from the tourist tax.

What is the cancellation policy?

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed unless otherwise specifically agreed in writing.

Is internet and television supplied?

Each apartment has its own internet and tv connection.

Am I responsible for cleaning?

At MAFF Apartments, we encourage guests to maintain the cleanliness of their rented apartment(s) through regular upkeep.
This means disposing of your own trash and doing your dishes. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping a pleasant and tidy environment for everyone.
The apartment is professionally cleaned once a week for stays of 7 days or longer. During this cleaning, your bed linens and towels will also be replaced.
After a guest checks out, a thorough final cleaning is carried out to ensure the apartment is clean and fresh for the next guest.

You can enjoy private parking during your stay. Parking will cost € 15,00 per day.

How do I get to the apartment?

Our apartments are located within walking distance from both train stations. HS (Hollands spoor 550 metres) CS (Centraal station 650 metres) Guests arriving via Schiphol airport are best off travelling to Station HS (Hollands spoor). You can find the walking route to the MAFF Apartments here.
