Terms and Conditions

  • Occupancy: Maximum 2 persons (no pets allowed).
  • Access: Our house rules only permit the stay of guests listed in the booking. It is not permitted to receive third parties or to use the space for commercial/business activities.
  • Non-smoking: The entire apartment is non-smoking. This includes e-cigarettes and vapes.
  • Check-in & Check-out: Check-in is from 2:00 PM (14:00) onwards. Check-out is by 11:00 AM.
  • Damages: Any damage to the property or removal of items will be charged to/recovered from the tenant.
  • Parking: Parking in the garage is at the sole risk of the vehicle owner/tenant.
  • Hygiene: For hygienic and cultural reasons, our apartments are shoe-free.
  • Reservations: Your reservation request is held as a unique option for 4 days. The booking is only definitive upon receipt of the advance payment.
  • Payment: For stays up to 1 month, a 100% advance payment is required. Long-term rentals are subject to consultation. Payment can be made via bank transfer (details available upon request).
  • Rates: Rates include 21% VAT and tourist tax.

 

Cancellation Policy

With only two apartments, the impact of a cancellation is significant. We are not responsible for circumstances such as poor weather, illness, changes in travel plans, or travel delays. We strongly recommend taking out a travel/cancellation insurance policy.

Cancellation Fees:
  • A standard €45 administration fee applies to all cancellations.
  • More than 40 days before arrival: 100% refund of the advance payment (minus admin fee).
  • 39 to 15 days before arrival: 50% refund of the total stay.
  • 14 to 7 days before arrival: 10% refund of the total stay.
  • Less than 7 days before arrival: No refund.

 

Procedure:
Cancellations can only be made by email or telephone. A cancellation is only valid once it has been confirmed in writing by Short Stay Apartments the Hague.
